Description
This project aims to improve the detection of fiber pathways and tissue microstructure in vivo using diffusion MRI (DMRI). It seeks to develop and validate advanced methods for fiber identification and tissue characterization, assess the reproducibility of fiber-specific diffusion properties, and quantify intersubject variability. The research will enhance DMRI's sensitivity to white matter injury and improve the specificity of imaging biomarkers for brain injury, recovery, and aging.
