Description
The project aims to develop an interleaved TMS/fMRI protocol to assess the effects of neuromodulatory theta burst stimulation on neural and behavioral measures related to anxiety expression. The study will evaluate the impact of continuous theta burst stimulation (cTBS) to the right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (dlPFC) on TMS-evoked fMRI responses in high-anxious individuals, hypothesizing that cTBS will reduce activity in downstream targets involved in emotion regulation, thereby decreasing anxiety.
