This project investigates the neural and behavioral mechanisms underlying obesity development in children, using data on genetics, environment, and brain function to inform early intervention strategies.

Description

Our project, RESONATE, aims to investigate why some children develop obesity. It uses data on eating behaviors, genetic and environmental factors, and brain structure and function, collected in a sub-sample of RESONANCE, a large study of families of children from infancy through childhood. The results will lay foundations for early interventions to prevent or treat obesity.
