Description
Temporary Sodium Hypochlorite Chemical Feed System at the Richmond Water Treatment Plant (Plant 2).On March 3, 2026, The temporary Feed system and installation was ordered to allow the plant to maintain controlled and reliable sodium hypochlorite dosing for drinking water disinfection while the existing chemical storage and containment structure is taken out of service for critical structural repairs and reconstruction. The work includes demolition and site preparation, underground utility work, civil construction, mechanical piping installation, electrical installation, and startup support for the temporary chemical feed system. Owner-furnished equipment to be installed includes Watson Marlow hose pump skids, OCF shelters, a PolyProcessing chemical storage tank, and a temporary PLC-based control panel.
