Description

The project aims to identify genes and their cell types of action driving human disease across global populations, revealing clinically relevant candidate biomarkers and drug targets while enhancing the equity of biomedical discovery. It will develop algorithms to map disease-associated variants to disease-critical genes, infer cell-type-specific regulatory behavior, and analyze rare cell types from single-cell RNA sequencing.
