Description

This project will characterize the health and health insurance status of gig workers, including analysis of differences based on income, education, age, marital status, and urbanicity using administrative tax records and by developing surveys to field on large samples of gig and non-gig workers. It will study how low-cost nudges can improve health insurance rates among gig workers and examine the impact of higher insurance rates on health outcomes.
