Description

This research addresses the public health issue of postpartum hypertension among women with subclinical blood pressure elevations during pregnancy. The study aims to develop and pilot an electronic health record-based physical activity intervention linked with FitBit data to prevent hypertension progression in postpartum women. The project will identify factors influencing postpartum physical activity, develop intervention messaging, and test feasibility and acceptability through a pilot randomized controlled trial.
