During the evaluation, clarification was obtained from Ainsworth Inc. confirming that its submitted price of $303,726.00 did not include applicable HST. In accordance with the pricing requirements in Schedule “B” – Bidding Sheet, applicable HST was included for evaluation purposes. Ainsworth Inc.’s evaluated total was therefore $349,284.90. Following completion of the bid evaluation, Top Notch Electrical Ltd. was determined to have the lowest evaluated bid at $310,181.22 and met the requirements of the solicitation. Accordingly, the contract was awarded to Top Notch Electrical Ltd. The original bid amounts recorded in MERX have not been amended.
