Description

This project develops chemoenzymatic methodologies to prepare a wide range of N-glycans found in the respiratory tract of humans and relevant animals, using a new synthetic paradigm called 'Stop-and-Go-Chemoenzymatic Glycosylation'. An automation platform will be developed to increase synthesis speed, enabling the preparation of complex N-glycans for host-pathogen studies, particularly focusing on influenza A virus receptor usage and aiding in surveillance, prevention, and intervention strategies.
