Description

The project aims to develop fast, high-resolution, whole-brain quantitative imaging of 2-hydroxyglutarate (2HG) and other metabolic markers for diagnosis, treatment guidance, and monitoring of glioma patients with mutant IDH and wildtype tumors. It addresses the lack of specific in vivo imaging methods for IDH mutations, offering a non-invasive, repeatable, and cost-effective tool that provides comprehensive tumor evaluation without biopsy sampling bias. The approach employs accelerated imaging techniques, novel hardware, and deep learning automation to improve glioma diagnosis and treatment monitoring.
