Description

The project aims to identify genetic factors and cellular events that control the duration of immunity after vaccination. It focuses on molecular programs and cellular trajectories leading to long-lived plasma cells, as well as transcriptional and epigenetic features of memory B cells that precede durable recall responses. The study employs single-cell transcriptional and epigenetic programs, classic model antigens, adjuvants, and genetic tools to manipulate genes in vivo. The goal is to develop rules to predict and optimize the duration of humoral immunity.
