Description

The project involves rehabilitation of the Bob Sikes Fishing Pier South to restore deteriorated components and add features to comply with ADA recommendations, including pedestrian railing and deck lighting. The scope includes demolition of the last three spans of the pier due to substantial damage, substructure repairs, cathodic protection systems to mitigate corrosion, ADA upgrades, lighting improvements, handrail enhancements, signage installation, and construction of a vehicular gate with bollards. The project aims to preserve the pier as a safe, accessible, and sustainable public asset for long-term community use.
