Description
The Aging Adult Brain Connectome (AABC) study builds on the infrastructure developed by the Human Connectome Project for Aging (HCA) to obtain longitudinal follow-up data (neuroimaging, cognitive testing, and biosamples) using a standardized protocol from a well characterized, US-representative cohort of over 1,000 healthy individuals to generate within-participant brain trajectories for up to 10 years. The study examines effects of stress, lifestyle, menopause, and resilience factors related to Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias.
