Research project funded by NIEHS to study effects of prenatal and postnatal chemical mixture exposures on child neurobehavior and neuroimaging using advanced statistical methods and birth cohort studies.

Description

This project investigates the impact of prenatal and postnatal exposures to chemical mixtures on child cognition, attention/executive function, externalizing and internalizing behaviors, and brain imaging using two well-characterized birth cohort studies in the U.S. and Canada. It aims to quantify the impact of chemical mixtures on neurobehavioral and neuroimaging outcomes, enhancing understanding of developmental neurotoxicity and informing environmental health policy.
