Description
This project investigates the cellular, molecular, and physiological changes underlying posttraumatic epilepsy (PTE) following traumatic brain injury (TBI). Using multielectrode array EEG, the study aims to define seizure foci, identify cellular and molecular alterations, and discover biomarkers predictive of PTE onset. The research seeks to elucidate mechanisms of PTE and identify new targets for treatment.
