NIH-funded project to evaluate rTMS combined with ERP therapy for pediatric OCD, focusing on safety, efficacy, and neurocognitive outcomes.
Description
This project aims to test the efficacy of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) in improving treatment outcomes for youth and young adults with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The study will evaluate whether rTMS can normalize brain circuit functioning and reduce compulsive behaviors when combined with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy.
