INTERFAITH CRISIS RESPONSE - 4.1 Curriculum development encompassing core concepts as outlined in Section 3.1 of this SOW. DEPT. CONTACT: KATHRYN Y. STUART PHONE # (213) 943 - 8608 EMAIL: kstuart@dmh.lacounty.gov VENDOR CONTACT: NICK MAIORINO PHONE # (310) 785 - 2121 X 202 EMAIL: NMAIORINO@ALCOTTCENTER.ORG; 4.2 Promotional Materials for Participation Recruitment 4.2.1 Vendor shall develop promotional materials to recruit a minimum of 16 diverse participants with Los Angeles County. 4.2.2 Any promotional materials shall include a copy of the DMH and BHSA logo, provided by DMH. This includes flyers that are electronic (PDF) and are letter sized to distribute via email and 500 printed flyers in regular letter size paper. 4.2.3 The promotional materials, including those utilizing social media platforms, shall be submitted to DMH for approval prior to implementation of the selection of the first cohort. 4.2.4 The DMH 24/7 Help Line (800-854-7771), and the 988 lifeline must be included in every flyer and media post. 4.2.5 Vendor shall be solely liable and responsible for all social media posts. Vendor shall indemnify and hold harmless the County from and against all liabilities and costs arising from, connected with, or related to social media posts as part of this project.; 4.3 Evaluation Materials 4.3.1 Vendors shall develop an evaluation pre and post tool to be administered to participants to gather baseline on knowledge of each training module before and after completion of each training module. 4.3.2 The evaluation shall include open ended areas for feedback on their experiences, what was learned in the training sessions as it relates to the specific module topic. Vendor shall compare pre and post test scores to evaluate learning gains and areas where expected progress was not gained. 4.3.3 The evaluation shall be submitted to DMH for pre-approval. 4.3.4 Vendor shall submit copies of all completed evaluations to DMH within 30 days of administration. 4.3.5 The evaluation shall include a copy of the DMH and the BHSA logo. 4.3.6 To ensure the privacy of the participants, the evaluation shall be anonymous and free of identifiable information.; 4.4 Participant Recruitment for training Session 4.4.1 Vendor shall recruit a minimum of 16 participants who are faith leaders. The participants shall be recruited within Los Angeles County.; 4.5 Development of Agendas and Schedules for training Sessions 4.5.1 Vendor shall provide DMH agendas and schedules in advance for the training sessions, at least two weeks prior to the training modules. 4.5.2 The activities highlighted in the agenda shall be relevant to the interfaith clergy leaders providing support and intervention to a behavioral health crisis. 4.5.3 The agendas shall include, at least, information related to the following: 4.5.3.1 Crisis intervention knowledge, techniques, and resources. 4.5.4 Agendas, schedules, and any other material shall be submitted to DMH for approval prior to implementation.; 4.6 Training Sessions 4.6.1 Vendor shall conduct training sessions focused on interfaith clergy leaders gaining knowledge to support an individual in a behavioral health crisis as outlined in Section 3.1 of this SOW. 4.6.2 At the end of each training, the vendor shall provide participants with an evaluation. Vendor shall submit copies of evaluation to DMH. 4.6.3 Vendor shall provide certification to each faith leader who has completed all four training modules and competence in each module 4.6.4 Vendor shall identify training location(s) and coordinate payment fees. 4.6.5 Vendor shall pay all the facility fees (the limit for facility fees for the entire project is $2000). 4.6.6 The locations shall be centrally located within Los Angeles County and easily accessible by public transportation. Location shall be within 150 feet of a bus stop or metro system. 4.6.7 Vendor shall provide reasonable Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodation requests by participants including, language translation of materials, language interpretation and handicap accessibility at facilities. The vendor shall gather these accommodation requests during the recruitment phase and provide $this documentation to DMH. 4.6.8 Vendor shall utilize a sign-in sheet to track the attendance of participants. The vendor shall submit copies of all sign-in sheets to DMH by August 30, 2026. 4.6.9 The training sessions must be free for attendees. 4.6.10 Food and refreshments shall be provided for all training attendees at no cost. Continental breakfast (Minimum of pastries, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, and water) and box sandwich lunches (Minimum of sandwiches, chips, and refreshments) shall be provided for the training that is 5 hours. 4.6.10 Vendor shall maintain a spending log and receipts for all food and refreshment purchases, which must be made available to DMH upon request.; 4.7 Final Summary Report The Final Summary Report at a minimum shall include: 4.7.1 Strengths/barriers of the Interfaith Crisis Response Project Training Sessions. An overview of the strengths, successes, challenges, and barriers encountered during the planning and implementation phases of the project. 4.7.2 A summary of pre and post evaluation tools, which shall include outcomes. 4.7.3 Future training recommendations. 4.7.4 Testimonials, personal statements gathered from training session participants providing feedback on how helpful or not was the ICRT training project. 4.7.5 Vendor shall present overall findings of the trainings to members of the FBAC subcommittee at a monthly meeting.
