Description

The study aims to explore recovery processes among Black adults with serious mental illness (SMI), examining how formal and informal help seeking leads to recovery, grounded in the CHIME framework. A qualitative phenomenological design will be used with 40 participants, exploring dimensions of recovery and how pathways facilitate recovery.
