Description
This project aims to investigate the neuroinflammatory outcomes associated with wildland fire smoke (WFS) exposure, particularly focusing on metals-contaminated biomass from regions impacted by legacy mining and nuclear activities. The research will explore the role of cerebrovascular adhesion molecules in mediating neuroinflammation and assess mechanisms of neuroinflammatory resolution, including the potential therapeutic use of pro-resolving lipid mediators.
