Description
This project studies how CD8 T cells and granzyme K activate the complement pathway, contributing to joint inflammation and damage. The research aims to define a new pathway of complement activation mediated by lymphocyte-derived GzmK, its role in inflammatory fibroblast activation, and joint pathology. The findings could reveal new therapeutic targets for rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
