Before installation can begin, ChargePoint requires the make ready contractor to submit evidence of adherence to ChargePoints standards and specifications. In addition to verifying and testing the installation, Commissioning also ensures the station is connected to the ChargePoint network, completing software updates and pairing configuration if applicable. In parallel, the ChargePoint Activations team will configure the station and apply policies according to the customers specifications. A final Commissioning Report will be provided to the customer. Note that if Commissioning cannot be performed due to site or installation deficiencies for which ChargePoint is not responsible, the customer will incur a rescheduling fee to cover redeployment costs.
