The EXPERIENCE-Feedback Project funded by the National Institute of Nursing Research aims to enhance home-based pediatric palliative care by implementing a digital feedback system to better align care with family needs, addressing health system and socioeconomic challenges, and improving outcomes for children with serious illnesses and their families.
Description
This project aims to improve home-based pediatric palliative care through digital feedback mechanisms, community engagement, and longitudinal outcome analysis. Family caregivers of children living with serious illness face challenges due to gaps in home-based healthcare and socioeconomic and environmental factors. The project evaluates a rapid digital information feedback loop between families and pediatric palliative care providers, explores associations between care experiences and outcomes, and builds a foundation for future interventions.
