Award to develop a Pediatric Solid Tumor Microenvironment Atlas using advanced spatial omics technologies to improve understanding and treatment of childhood solid tumors.

Description

This project aims to create a Pediatric Tumor Microenvironment Atlas focusing on childhood solid tumors such as rhabdomyosarcoma, Wilms tumor, and neuroblastoma. Using spatial transcriptomic and proteomic technologies, the project will classify immune and non-immune cells, compare diagnostic samples among responders and non-responders, and evaluate therapy effects on the tumor microenvironment (TME) and lineage plasticity. The goal is to identify shared pathways and networks across pediatric tumors to develop novel immunotherapy approaches, improve outcomes, and reduce long-term toxicities.
