Description

This project aims to determine the direct actions of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP1R) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptor (GIPR) signaling on the human airway epithelium response to respiratory syncytial virus, to optimize the use of GLP1R agonists and dual GLP1R/GIPR agonists to prevent viral-induced exacerbations in asthma.
