QUOTE: P226-016 ITEM: PROJECTION INSPECTION (ASBESTOS & LEAD) Asbestos Inspection - Review all available and pertinent building documents and previous reports. - Perform an asbestos inspection for those materials that will be disturbed. - Obtain bulk samples of suspect asbestos containing materials for asbestos content analysis. - Survey shall be conducted in a manner which is safe for the inspection team, building occupants and visitors. - All bulk sample analysis shall be performed by Pace Laboratories who participates in the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP), is accredited by the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). - Provide an asbestos inspection report with inspection findings for the facility. Lead Inspection - Review all available and pertinent building documents and previous reports. - Perform lead inspection of the interior & exterior painted surfaces of the building. - Lead Survey will be performed using a Nitton X-Ray Fluorescent (XRF) Analyzer. - Survey shall be conducted in a manner which is safe for the inspection team, building occupants and visitors. - Provide a lead inspection report with inspection findings.
