The award supports research to improve glioma immunotherapy efficacy by regulating tumor inflammation through RAGE inhibition, targeting multiple resistance mechanisms in glioblastoma.

Description

This project aims to evaluate RAGE inhibition as a multifaceted therapy for glioblastoma (GBM) by suppressing oncogenic pathways important for GBM growth and invasion and enhancing responses to immunotherapy. The study involves determining the mechanism of RAGE ablation on anti-tumor immune responses, measuring synergistic effects of small molecule RAGE inhibitors with immunotherapy, and identifying mechanisms of immunotherapy resistance to RAGE ablation.
