### Description

The Religious Orders Study (ROS) Core aims to support high-quality research on the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD). The core facilitates studies on transitions from normal cognition to mild cognitive impairment (MCI) to dementia, risk factors, clinical-pathology correlations, resilience, secular trends, Medicare data linkage, disease mechanisms, precision medicine, and human cell modeling. Since its inception in 1993, the ROS has contributed significantly to AD/ADRD research, with over 1550 participants and nearly 1000 autopsies.
