Description
This project aims to use advanced ultra-high field MRI and transcriptomic methods to characterize cortical demyelination and repair in early MS, and its impact on disease progression. It involves following a cohort of adults with newly diagnosed MS over 3 years, using 7T MRI, motor and cognitive evaluations, and blood and CSF collection to study lesion formation, growth, repair, and immune activation.
