Description
This project aims to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of anti-amyloid medications in Black and low-income populations, addressing disparities and improving treatment outcomes. The project uses mixed methods including qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys in Flint, Michigan, focusing on diagnostic, monitoring, delivery, transportation, and financial burdens. Utilization, costs, adherence, and adverse event rates will be determined using healthcare claims datasets for Medicare, Medicaid, and Veterans. Effectiveness and cost-effectiveness will be assessed through simulation methods.
