A research grant awarded to Children's Research Institute to enhance HIV prevention for young men using implementation science to improve delivery of evidence-based practices in clinical settings.

Description

This project aims to use implementation science methods to improve delivery of CDC-recommended evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing and personalized health education in clinics providing PrEP services. The goal is to increase retention in care and use of PrEP and other HIV prevention methods among young men at risk for HIV (YMRH). The project will investigate factors influencing implementation, identify strategies for effective delivery, and pilot these strategies in clinical settings.
