The project investigates the epigenetic transformation of microglia and its role in Alzheimer's disease development, aiming to identify molecular mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets using novel mouse models.

Description

This research examines how microglia transform through epigenetics over the lifespan and whether this transformation triggers the development of Alzheimer's disease by creatively using novel mouse models and other biotechnological tools. The results will provide a mechanistic insight into the development of Alzheimer's disease that may inform novel therapeutic avenues.
