The project investigates the role of CGRP–RAMP1 signaling in tumor-associated macrophages to overcome immunotherapy resistance in glioblastoma, using advanced molecular and imaging techniques in murine models.

Description

This project aims to define how CGRP–RAMP1 signaling enforces TAM-mediated immune suppression and promotes T cell exhaustion in GBM. It will utilize single-cell multiomic profiling, spatial transcriptomics, and advanced imaging in syngeneic murine models to map TAM and T cell interactions within the tumor microenvironment. The findings could lead to repurposing FDA-approved drugs targeting trigeminal sensory neurons to enhance immunotherapy efficacy in GBM.
