Description
The project aims to provide human tissues and analytical capabilities to enhance the translatability of mouse studies to human clinical practice. Core 2 will offer lipoprotein, lipidomic, and proteomic analyses, including detailed analysis of lipoproteins isolated by centrifugation and chromatography. Clinical samples such as sera, liver, and adipose tissue will be provided to investigators. The core will support molecular understanding of atherosclerosis, macrophage biology, triglyceride regulation, and obesity, with bioinformatics support for data analysis. Development of new analytical methods for lipid quantification and discovery will be a key component.
