Description
The project aims to develop and test the feasibility and preliminary impact of a structured physical activity program among individuals incarcerated in jail. It focuses on increasing yard time attendance and physical activity levels, improving self-efficacy, expectations and values of physical activity, perceived behavior of others, sleep quality, and reducing stress, anxiety, and depression symptoms. The research is based on Social Cognitive Theory and includes formative research, program development, and a pre-post intervention design to evaluate outcomes.
