Description

Unit 7530 (RES) was taken to the vendor due to reported oil leaks. Upon inspection, the vendor identified leaks at the oil pan gasket and the oil cooler block. The air compressor was also found to be leaking and requires replacement. In addition, the engine brake (Jake brake) is not functioning; the vendor will need to correct the system and reseal the valve cover. The unit remains out of service. -Estimated Parts; -Estimated Labor -Unit Out of Service, - Unit 7530 RES Scope of work: Inspection and/or disassemble to determine to cost of the repairing the issues causing the check engine light and oil leaks. If the repair costs are reasonable, the representative of the County may direct the vendor to proceed with the repairs and concurrently issue il requisition for the services.
