Description
This project aims to mechanistically understand how ionizing radiation promotes glioblastoma recurrence and radioresistance via genetic changes to tumor cells and senescence-associated changes to the brain microenvironment, and to test elimination of senescent cells with senolytics as a novel strategy to improve therapy.
