Description
Contract for professional Sign Language Interpreting and related communication access services on an as-needed basis to support University-sponsored activities including academic instruction, administrative and employment-related activities, student services, meetings, trainings, and public-facing events. The contract includes providing interpreters proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) who can accurately interpret specialized academic content, including complex terminology, and who can develop or adapt signs as needed for course-specific concepts. Services may be required for undergraduate, graduate, and professional curricula and may occur in various university settings. The contractor must provide qualified interpreters meeting certification and service capability requirements, including compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The contract period is June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027 with five one-year renewal options.
