Description

The Technology, Assessment, Data, and Analysis (TADA) Core will support the Stress, Trauma, and Resilience (STAR) COBRE by leveraging novel technological, methodological, design and analytical approaches to support and enrich STAR research projects. Specifically, the TADA Core will provide support for an array of innovative, state-of-the-field methods—uniquely offering expertise in leveraging technology for observational, laboratory and interventional studies critical for (1) obtaining ecologically valid data on stress exposures, and psychological, behavioral, and physiological responses with high temporal resolution, (2) novel approaches to digital phenotyping, and (3) electronically-delivered adaptive interventions. During Phase 1, TADA was highly productive, supporting 106 researchers and providing nearly two dozen workshops and trainings. The core established laboratories, assessment hubs, and a measures repository, including equipment like Tobii eye trackers and biospecimen freezers. Building on Phase 1 success, Phase 2 aims to refine and expand services, support study design, technology implementation, data management, and training, and develop a sustainable framework for long-term use.
