Description
This study examines the implementation and impact of interventions and strategies aimed to improve access to HIV services, reduce substance use, and improve housing stability among individuals impacted by the criminal legal system in the United States. The Pathways study seeks to improve HIV, substance use (SU), and housing outcomes among individuals impacted by the criminal legal system who use substances and are living with and vulnerable to HIV. It involves bundled HIV and housing interventions supported by four implementation strategies, including landlord engagement, rapid re-housing support, braided funding, and a flexible emergency funding pool. The study will conduct a hybrid type 2 implementation-effectiveness study in Cook County, IL, comparing the effectiveness of these interventions with other ongoing studies.
