A multi-year NIH-funded project studying early vocabulary development and semantic linkages in toddlers to inform early intervention practices.

Description

This project seeks to understand the mechanistic connections between early vocabulary growth and lexico-semantic development by measuring the impact of individually-tailored word learning tasks on subsequent vocabulary growth over a three-month window. It aims to inform theories of semantic development and lead to future individualized word learning interventions supporting Late-Talkers and Typically Developing children.
