Description
During the current funding cycle, the Administrative Core provided dynamic, efficient administrative and scientific leadership, oversight, and logistical support for the RCMI Health Disparities Center at Meharry Medical College (RHDR@MMC). The Core supported activities including leveraging resources, evaluating progress, and providing career development for postdocs and junior investigators. It supported the Advisory Committee (AC) and Steering Committee (SC), promoted achievements of all cores and research projects, and leveraged ongoing career development activities at Meharry towards eliminating health disparities. The overarching goal is to enhance leadership capacity and manage strategic and operational needs of the RHDR@MMC program. Specific aims include resource management, oversight, communication, evaluation, and monitoring investigator progress.
