Description
This project aims to evaluate the role of dead space as a marker for risk stratification and treatment heterogeneity in pediatric ARDS, specifically assessing the impact of inhaled Nitric Oxide (iNO). The research hypothesizes that the alveolar dead space fraction (AVDSf) is a superior predictor of mortality risk compared to oxygenation index (OI) and may identify subgroups that benefit from iNO therapy.
