Los Angeles County Internal Services Department awarded a purchase order (PO-IS-26007875) to ORRAVAN MECHANICAL, INC. for $110,644.00 to remove and replace the existing Direct Digital Controllers (DDC) on four water-cooled packaged air handling units (AHU 1 through AHU 4). The scope includes furnishing and installing new DDC controllers with local display interfaces and expansion modules, developing a custom sequence of operations specific to mechanical design and operational requirements, performing point-to-point checkout and functional performance testing, and fully integrating the units into the existing Building Automation System (BAS). The contract covers both labor and materials for each of the four AHUs. Notable contract requirements include thorough verification of existing wiring before removal, complete documentation of checkout sheets, and the inclusion of alarms, safeties, and interlock logic to ensure proper operation.
