Development and testing of a dyadic behavioral sleep intervention for persons with dementia and their caregivers using design thinking approaches.

Description

This project aims to use design thinking and human-centered approaches to develop a dyadic behavioral intervention tailored for sleep disturbance in persons with mild cognitive impairment or early-stage Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, along with their caregivers. The intervention will be tested through a waitlist randomized controlled trial involving 40 dyads to assess acceptability, feasibility, and preliminary efficacy on sleep outcomes.
