Description

This project analyzes longitudinal plasma biomarkers from stored SPRINT samples to assess how baseline Alzheimer's Disease pathology or ε4 modifies the effects of blood pressure control on dementia risk, and how biomarkers change over time and predict dementia. The study aims to refine hypertension treatment strategies to lower dementia risk, identify subgroups for targeted therapies, and create a public resource of biomarker data.
