The requested software is the County's existing election management system and is used to manage and track election equipment, poll workers, payroll, training, chain of custody documentation, communications with poll workers, and other election administration functions. This software is proprietary to the vendor, and no other vendor can provide compatible licensing, maintenance, support, or updates for the County's existing system. Replacing the software would require the procurement and implementation of a new election management system, including data migration, system configuration, retraining of staff, and operational changes, resulting in significant cost and disruption to election operations. Therefore, this software is available only from the current vendor.
