Core C - Data Management and Statistical Core

This award supports the University of Wisconsin-Madison in enhancing data management and statistical support for Alzheimer's disease research, including data sharing, statistical analysis, and educational outreach.

Description

The Data Management and Statistical Core (Core C) aims to enhance informatics tools and establish an integrated data management ecosystem to support reproducible research at the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC). It will facilitate data exchange with the National Alzheimer’s Coordinating Center (NACC) and other ADRCs, promote data sharing with national and international researchers, provide statistical support for ADRC projects, and offer educational opportunities in statistical methodology and data management. Core C will maintain a research registry for participant recruitment, provide secure data infrastructure, facilitate data and biospecimen sharing, develop statistical methods, perform data analysis, support research projects involving underrepresented groups, assist in grant development, and create educational curricula.
