National Cancer Institute funding supports research into combination immunotherapies for non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer, including investigation of the engineered anti-CD40 antibody 2141-V11 and its effects on dendritic cells and antitumor immunity.

### Description

The project aims to elucidate how dendritic cells mediate immune responses to CD40 agonism, BCG, and other immunotherapies, and to inform combination treatment strategies for non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer. The work includes studying dendritic-cell and CD8 T-cell responses, testing combination approaches in preclinical models, and evaluating 2141-V11 alone and in combinations in patients.
