Description

This project aims to investigate the potential of targeted nanoparticle drug delivery technology as a minimally invasive treatment to accelerate the regeneration of composite injuries involving bone and muscle. These injuries, often resulting from motor vehicle accidents, industrial accidents, and blast wounds, lead to long-term impairments and significant economic burden. The study focuses on nanoparticle systems functionalized with TRAP-binding peptides to target TRAP+ cells in vitro and in vivo, promoting healing through delivery of Wnt agonist AR28 and modulation of macrophage phenotypes.
