Description
Sealed Bids for construction of Contract Number 2020B-11: Capitol Avenue Area Water Main Replacement Project will be received and safeguarded by The Metropolitan District, at the office of the District Clerk of the Metropolitan District, 555 Main Street, Hartford, CT, 06103 until 2:00 PM (Local Time), March 17, 2023 and at that time and place Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by video teleconference. The Work shall consist of all labor, equipment, fees, permits, and other related costs necessary to provide for the installation of approximately 9,380 L.F. 8-inch and 12-inch Ductile Iron water main, appurtenances, new hydrants, water service transfers, and meter pit installations to replace the existing water mains of various sizes along Capitol Avenue, Beacon Street, Natalie Street, Rowe Avenue, Dorothy Street, Ashton Street, James Street, Heath Street, Amity Street, and South Whitney Street along with support equipment and accessories as shown and specified. The Work shall be located in the City of Hartford; in the State of Connecticut.
